Ukrainians can now travel to Thailand without needing to go to a diplomatic office or spending hours queueing at the border. The Electronic Visa on Arrival (eVOA) for Thailand allows Ukrainians to enter for periods of up to 15 days via a straightforward application process.
The online form for the Thai eVOA for Ukrainians only takes a few minutes to fill out before traveling to Thailand. Ukrainians holding the eVOA for Thailand on arrival will then be allowed to join a fast-track queue at the Thai border.
The Online Thailand eVOA for Ukranians
In the past Ukrainians had to wait in long queues at the Thai border in order to complete the application form and wait for the authorities to approve it. The Thai eVOA allows citizens from Ukraine to complete the online application in advance and therefore save time at the border.
To promote the Thailand eVisa, the Thai Government is waiving the 2,000 Baht arrival fee (roughly 61USD) for all applications made before April 30, 2020. After this date, Ukrainians will have to both the visa fee and the arrival fee.
How can Ukrainians Apply for the Thai Electronic Visa on Arrival?
Applying for a Thailand eVisa on Arrival for Ukrainian citizens is simple. Travelers can complete the application form between 30 days and 24 hours before their intended arrival date by answering some basic questions. Ukranian applicants are required to enter information such as their name, address, date of birth, and passport details.
Small errors such as spelling mistakes and mistyped numbers can lead to delays in the application process, and even rejections in some cases. With this in mind, applicants should carefully revise all the information they enter before submitting their application.
The vast majority of applications will be quickly processed and approved. Applicants must meet all the Thai eVisa on Arrival requirements for Ukrainians (listed below). In addition, travelers need to pay the visa fee using a credit or debit card.
